Honoring Lee and Joanne Fisher

Honoring Lee and Joanne Fisher, founding members of the Oneonta NAACP, for their efforts in protecting civil rights and pursuing the ideal of equal justice in the Otsego County Courts over the last three decades.  As members of the Legal Redress committee, Mr. and Mrs. Fisher have often appeared in our courts in the service of ensuring that all citizens are treated fairly and not subjected to racial discrimination.  In recognition of their work, their portrait will be unveiled at the ceremony and placed on public display in the Supreme Court Courtroom in the County Annex Building in Cooperstown, New York, on Friday, October 28, 2022 at 12:00 PM.  Members of the public are welcome to attend.
