FREE Showing of the 1961 film, "A Raisin in the Sun"
The Oneonta NAACP film series, “Race Matters,” returns this fall, with the first film, “A Raisin in the Sun,” starring Sidney Poitier and Ruby Dee. SUNY Oneonta History Professor E. Howard Ashford will introduce the film and lead a question-answer session for those who wish to stay after the film.

No tickets or event registration are necessary. The Oneonta NAACPs “Race Matters” film series will show a film on the second Saturday every month at 4pm in the Hunt Union movie theater and have discussions following their screenings. All film screenings are FREE.
